Ngong Hills Hike
Ngong Hills offers a balcony view over the greater Nairobi area. Also, from its summits you’ll enjoy great vistas of the South Rift region, from the Great Rift Valley floor to the undulating hills of the Western escarpment on the horizon. On clear days both, Mt. Kenya as well as Kilimanjaro may show their white caps.
But even more so, Ngong Hills offer a great day for hikers and nature lovers away from the city. Following the crest trail will make you walk through rainforests and cross over 5 peaks.
Although mountain-biking is not usually done on the main hiking trail there are good cycling routes which make it a thrilling way to explore the area. And if you don’t want to miss a bit of history, visiting Denys Finch-Hatton’s grave might do.
